Pastor Daniel Ruiz was born October 11th, 1989, in Naples, FL, to Cuban parents. He was baptized at a local Lutheran church the following year. Through family friends, his family was invited to Our Savior Lutheran Church and soon became members. As a young boy, he had wanted to be a doctor or to join the military.
