Christ’s Humility, Our Glory

As sinners, we naturally glory in ourselves, yet there is no glory in us. How shall we ever God’s glory then? Through repentance of our sins and by faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God’s glorious, almighty Son, who entered this world as a sinless human being. He humbled himself, even unto death on a Roman cross. He did this bearing our sins away. Then on the third day, he rose again from death, and forty days after that, ascended to heaven’s glory. Jesus, glorious God in human form,  humbled himself, that we may enter heaven’s glory, not confessing our own, but through his, for he has overcome! Come and hear this sermon based on Matthew 5:1-12.
