Where is peace?

The world clamors for peace. Why can nation lay down it arms against nation? Why can’t terrorists repent of their killing agenda? Are we so powerless to stop ourselves? But the answer is obvious: we are powerless to stop ourselves, and therefore warfare will never cease. Yet Jesus, the eternal Son of God, risen bodily from death, has won the peace: not between nations, but between sinful mankind and God the Father. The peace he has won is everlasting–he died for all sins and rose again from death. Believe it and be saved from this warring world.
