The Power of True Friendship

There is great power in true friendship. The power is in the bond that friends share in personal commitment to one another. If you find yourself in such a relationship, you are blessed. Jesus is our truest friend. All other friends do fail each other at times, but Jesus never fails us. Even when we rejected him in our sins, Jesus did not fail to lay down his life for us to take our sins away. He has proven his friendship to us by this great sacrifice. He has even sought us out that we might believe in him for this! What a friend we have in Jesus, our truest friend, who is the foundation of all healthy, lasting friendships.
