The Lord’s Holy Arm Laid Bare

Christmas is the celebration of God’s eternal almighty Son conceived and born a sinless human male, Jesus Christ. In this, He is the Lord’s holy arm laid bare. This means that he came to reveal God’s power and grace through humility and trust under his Father, even becoming obedient to death, death on a cross for the world’s sins, then to arise. May we live under him, in humility and trust, who laid bare his arm in saving us all from sin, death and the devil. May he always be our strength.
