The storms we encounter during our lives are never as fierce as they seem. We make them out to be worse than they really are. When we are in the midst of a storm, however, we don’t think this way. But Jesus promises to diminish, control, and even still the storms of our lives so that they serve for our good. We know that Jesus is doing this for our good because he faced the greatest of all storms: he suffered and died for our sins on the cross, but he has risen again. Now he lives to save us from every storm until we enter eternal peace and rest. Come and here this sermon based on Mark 4:35-41. AMEN.
