Prisons…we’re all in one…of sin, and because of sin, death, and because of sin…hell (what we deserve). Advent is the season which proclaims “deeds for freedom,” not our own, but Jesus’ deeds, who labored to set us free from the prison of sin, death, and hell by suffering under sin, death, and hell in our place, then to rise again to life, breaking all evil asunder! Let us believe in him for these deeds, which free us now and forever.
