Opening Closed Minds

The closed minded–they are all around us. Actually, each one of us is closed minded–the result of sin in our lives. We are closed to God’s forgiveness in Jesus Christ, his only Son. who suffered and died to take away our sins, and rose again to bring us eternal life. Instead, we view Christ as a threat–he shows us our sins–we don’t like that. He tells us he is one who can forgive sin for salvation–but we say, I’ll get there on my own. How shall our minds open to him? Only he can do it through his Word. Come and hear this sermon based on Luke 24:36-49
