Hope in A Tent

Life in the tent of the body is not always easy. It rarely is. The temptation is ever-present to pack it in, give up, go home. God would not have us do this! In order to sustain us as we live in the tent of the body, he has given us hope. He sent his Son into the world in tent of a human body, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die on the cross for our sins and overcome death in his bodily resurrection. In his time, on the Last Day, when Jesus returns in the flesh and divine glory, he shall deliver us, glorified body and soul, heavenward and homeward.
