Funding the Mission of Jesus

Money reigns supreme in the world and in our own hearts too. But is money everything? The Lord Jesus would teach us that money isn’t anything, not when it comes to the salvation of our souls. Jesus, God’s Son, our Lord, came into the world to redeem us from sin, death, and the devil, with no money in his pocket, but divine priceless blood coursing in his veins, blood which he shed for our salvation. This is his mission fund. By faith in his holy precious blood we are saved. It is by this blood that we reach out to the world as his witnesses and Jesus gathers his chosen people in by faith.
