Judgment without Compromise

Judgment is something we naturally fear, and we should. Punishment is for wrongdoing. Though we try to avoid it as much as possible as we live in the world, we cannot avoid it forever. Someday we will stand before the throne of God. How shall be escape judgment when only one sin condemns us? God sent his own Son in human form, Jesus, to be judged in the place of the entire world, for all its sin. Believing in him, who was judged in our place, we receive forgiveness and pardon. What confidence is ours as we believe in him! What witness we bring that others might have the same confidence! Jesus is coming to judge the world on the Last Day, but in him, it will be the day of the believer’s SALVATION.
