We all have the desire to feel welcome, whether it is in a home, school, a place of employment, a church. Some places are more welcoming than others. Sometimes we bring our own problems into situations and don’t give others a chance to be welcoming. But Jesus is the great welcomer! He welcomes us to himself, even though we bring our own sins and problems with us. He says, “I have forgiven you at the cross, and given you life because of my empty tomb. Come to me by faith.
