In life, we attach our signature to many documents, making promises to follow through on the prescribed terms. But Christianity is not about this. If we were sign the contract with God, promising to follow through, we will and do break the contract. We sin. Sin results in judgment. Christianity is about a promise, God’s promise to save us from our sins. It is a contract he signed with himself with the blood of Jesus his Son.
