Martin Luther once wrote, “A Christian is a free lord, subject to none. A Christian is a slave, subject to all.” This is true because Jesus, the Lord, freely sacrificed himself for the world at the cross to free the world from sin. All who believe in the cross, have been freed from sin and hell, and are freely moved to serve their neighbor as Jesus did.
